The map looks like what I expected. But I'm confused. The text says that Bush carried the Catholic vote, but the map clearly shows that Catholicism is the most prevalent religion in the Northeast & West Coast. Aren't those Blue areas? Unless these areas are highly secular, which seems unlikely, the map seems to be missing something. At least it looks nice.
Hmm... you're right, there is something off about the caption in the graphic. Oh well, it is AP after all...
I agree. Bush could carry the the Catholic vote in blue states, but if there isn't a lot of Catholics around, he could still lose.
